Project Kino šinobus is directed to creating cultural content in the form of film screenings in the continental part of the Istrian county; in the places connected with railroad Pula-Buzet. The main goal of the project is to provide cultural content to places without tourist attractions and lacking events even in the summer period. We are providing film screenings for local residents so they can at least partly satisfy the need for cultural content without having to travel to tourist centers on the coast.
The first stop of Kino šinobus was a railroad stop in Vodnjan wherein 2018. we held screenings of films “La Strada” directed by Damir Čučić and “Drunken street” (Pijana ulica) directed by Marin Lukanović; and in 2019. screenings of films “Meat” (Meso) directed by Elvis Lenić and “The factory is ours” (Tvornica je naša) directed by Vedrana Pribačić.
The project is realized in cooperation with Vodnjan City and with the support of the Croatian audio-visual center (HAVC).
