Creative expression through digital technologies workshops is a perennial Filmaktiv’s project that has a goal to educate young people of Rijeka in the field of documentary and experimental film.
In twelve years of this program’s existence, almost two hundred participants attended the workshops creating about forty works: video reports, documentary, and experimental films.
The goal of the workshop is to educate young people on the use of video as a medium for creative expression. Our main intention is to teach people how to use video in promoting social change. That is why we encourage socially engaged works and precisely the reason we accentuate documentary and partly experimental genre.
